Geometries of Milton Keynes – the Project Space of Milton Keynes Gallery October 2014 – Working with Yvonne Elliott from Creative Learning Milton Keynes, we set up a year long project of Student work from City&Guilds textiles and working in children’s centres to create a window freeze. I also devised the A5 challenge, inspiring around 50 individuals to create a variety of A5 sized pieces of work representing areas of Milton Keynes that we hung to recreate a map of Milton Keynes in an abstract form.

Festival of quilts at the NEC Birmingham 2014 and 2015 Contemporary quilters guild members challenge. My quilts have been chosen from an open call for work and will be exhibited in Europe as well as the NEC.

The theme was asylum seekers, I made a quilt out of responses from my brief “You have 5minutes to pack your bags, what 5 things would you take”? The quilt was draped over the tent and during theinstallation, members of the public added their contributions written on small paper suitcases stitched on top of the fabric.
